Nikon D800: Domed Reading Room

The Domed Reading Room in the State Library of Victoria is a wonderfull light filled space designed to hold 1 million books and over 500 readers. To capture the dynamic range, detail and vastness of this magnificent space, I used a Nikon D800 with a 14-24mm f2.8 lens. Even with such a wide lens, I was unable to capture the pace in its entirety. I plan to return with a a fish eye lens or use photo stitching to see if I can do justice to this cathedral of reading.
