Williamstown Literary Festival 2013
The Williamstown Literary Festival has grown into one of the country’s most respected wordfests, attracting some of Australia’s best loved authors. I photographed the the opening day of the festival including the poetry and short story prize giving event. I used the Nikon D600 with the Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8 and Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8. This proved to be a good combination allowing me to work with the ambient light without resorting to flash. However I did find I had to work around the limitations of the D600 focus areas which never felt as solid as it's big brothers the D700, D800 and D4.
