Barkly Street: Sims Supermarket

The is the third photo of four I took last Sunday morning as part of the Barkly Street project. This is inspired by Gregory Crewdson's work in Beneath the Roses. I knew exactly the type of image I wanted. I used five bracketed exposures from +2 to-2 and processed them using Exposure Fusion plugin in Lightroom.

Barkly Street: Coin Laundrette

This is one of my favorite Barkly Street images. It encapsulates the time of transition in Barkly Street perfectly. It symbolises the clean up of existing businesses in response to gentrification.
